Version 1.5.0.2, 2025 R8, February 2025
This new release of Duplicate Check introduces Search Indexes, which will optimize the duplicate finding process. In order for search indexes to work correctly, some changes need to be made, both in your Dynamics environments and in Duplicate Check itself.
For Plauti Business and Enterprise
Search Indexes are available for the Plauti Business and Enterprise editions. The update instructions below therefore apply to these editions. Check your edition in Duplicate Check > License.
In the environments where you are using Duplicate Check:
- Enable Dataverse Search
- Configure the Quick Find view of the DC Record Index table
- Mark the DC Record Index table as searchable for Dataverse Search
In Duplicate Check:
- Enable creating search indexes for newly created or updated records
- Create search indexes for existing records:
- Create search index jobs in Duplicate Check, and
- Run these jobs in DC Local
Make sure to first make the environment changes, and only then the Duplicate Check changes.
Check and update your Dynamic environment’s settings
- In the Power Platform admin center, make sure Dataverse Search is enabled for the environments where you are using Duplicate Check. It is disabled for Sandbox environments by default.

.

, click Start Index Creation
.
- Confirm to run the Index Job in DC Local.
In the search index overview, the Status will change to “Waiting to start”. - In DC Local, run each entity’s ‘Start Index Creation’ job.
When the search index is created for an entity, its Status will change to “Completed”, and its Index Status will change to “Index Up To Date” .
