Plauti Deduplicate Settings

Configure settings for Plauti Deduplicate via Plauti Desktop. Set jobs to run automatically, and determine computing resources for jobs.

 

 

To configure the Plauti Desktop settings specific to Plauti Deduplicate:

  1. In Plauti Desktop, at left, go to Plauti Deduplicate > Settings 
    (fold open the menu if you don't see the Settings option straight away)


     
  2. At Auto Run Jobs, enable Auto Run Jobs for those Connections where you want to start Deduplicate jobs automatically.
    In DC Local this setting used to be called ‘Auto process jobs’.


    Jobs start only when app is running

    Plauti Deduplicate's deduplicate, merge/convert and search index jobs can only be started and processed while your machine is active, and Plauti Desktop is open. This applies both to Auto Run jobs and manually started jobs.

    If you cannot leave your machine active for longer periods, for example to run large jobs overnight, it is recommended to use Plauti Cloud or Plauti Server instead. Don't hesitate to contact us to discuss the different options!

     
  3. At System Resource Usage (CPU/MEMORY), configure the resources Plauti Desktop Deduplicate can use to process your jobs.
    • At Max Memory, select the maximum memory that can be allocated to Plauti Desktop.
    • At CPU, select the CPU use level for Plauti Desktop.
