This macro converts full country names in the Country field on Lead objects in Salesforce into their corresponding ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 codes.
For instance, it replaces “United States of America” with “US” and “Germany” with “DE.” This standardization enhances data uniformity, streamlines reporting, and improves compatibility with external systems that use ISO country codes. The macro can be executed manually, in batches, from list views, through triggers, or integrated into Salesforce Flows for automated conversion. By simplifying and unifying country data, this tool ensures consistency across your CRM and related processes.
